Fun Fact:

The famous American author F. Scott Fitzgerald and his wife Zelda lived in Asheville for a short time during the summer of 1935. While they were in Asheville, Fitzgerald wrote parts of his novel "Tender Is the Night" and Zelda worked on her own writing and art projects. The house they rented in Asheville is now a National Historic Landmark and can be visited by the public.
